Our story began with a search for a free-of-tie pub and a passion for independence. More than a decade later, we remain dedicated to bringing people together with top quality beer, cider, food and service in welcoming, community-focused spaces.

The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer
The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, locally known as The Volley, is a historic pub located on Bristol’s King Street. Renowned for its 36 lines of UK craft drinks, proper pub food, and warm atmosphere. It’s a local favourite with function rooms, a roof terrace, a games room, live music, entertainment & live sport throughout the week.
The Butcher's Hook
A lively High Street favourite, The Butcher’s Hook offers craft beer, cracking bar snacks, live sport every week and wood-fired pizza from Pig's Pizzas Thursday to Saturday. Regular musical acts and hosts weekly events, it’s a go-to spot in Thornbury for everything from a quiet pint, a night out or a large get together for a special occasion.
The Strand
The Strand is a lively, independent pub located in the heart of Cheltenham, renowned for its craft beer lineup, welcoming atmosphere, and regular events, including a popular weekly quiz night. A favourite with locals, it’s a social hub with character and community at its core with a sunny beer garden and heated in those winter months.
The White Hart
The White Hart in Wells is a 15th century inn offering characterful rooms, locally inspired dining, and a welcoming atmosphere. Just steps from Wells Cathedral, it’s the perfect base for exploring Somerset’s historic landmarks and countryside. With regular music events, live sports and an amazing Sunday lunch to keep you coming back.
